I purchased this shirt (VATPAVE Mens Hawaiian Shirt, 4th of July Casual) to wear on special days to celebrate living in the good ol’ US of A. The shirt serves that purpose.Overall its a good shirt. I washed it before writing this review to see how it would come out of the washer and dryer, and I was surprised at how well it did – absolutely no wrinkles or shrinkage. Use the sizing chart provided by the manufacturer, as I did, and you should get a good fit to begin with. My only complaints: The chest pocket is not deep enough to hold much of anything. I carry my glasses in that pocket, and every time I bend over the glasses fall out. Consider the chest pocket ornamental. Made in China.

A flag shirt that is well made, quelle surprise!
It doesnât take much guesswork to figure out what this shirt is all about. It celebrates the underwater axolotl kingdom of Gorthugl. Except their colors are green and gold. Maybe this is for something else.Got it! Itâs all about our countryâs Independence and the Fourth of July when we celebrate it each year. Well, the shirt really looks great! I am not one to wear flag shirts, but I am happy to wear this. Sure, because of what it symbolizes, but also because it just plain looks good.It is colorful, with crisp lines and bright colors. It had zero defects and fit me perfectly, though I ordered 3x knowing that I am just a bit over 2x. I especially like the white stitching. It looks like Betsy Ross herself sat down and stitched it together. It is not the most comfortable shirt, a bit stiff and needs a t-shirt under it as I can see my delightfully pudgy middle through the material. But itâs not bad, and Iâll only be wearing it around this time, and maybe Memorial Day.

Unfortunately too large
I thought this would be a nice shirt to have around for memorial day, 4th of July bbq’s etc. This style is definitely very casual. Unfortunately the fit was much too large and I had to return.

Does the shirt violate any flag etiquette?
The shirt itself is very well made — especially at the price. I bought the medium and it fit just as I had expected. My only concern — after I had purchased it I was reading about flag etiquette and I’m now wondering if the depictions of the flag on the shirt are appropriate. Lots of articles written about it. You can make your own decision.

Just Horrible – Dont Buy
I was very disappointed upon getting this , first it had a very horrible smell coming from it. Like someone used it and had left it with all their sweat. I was like ok maybe its just the smell that is from new clothing but it was very bad. so I let it air dry it for 48 hours and saw that smell was not going away. I washed it and the clothing shrink a lil. Just not a good experience. Avoid IT
